They grow so fast.....

Seems like just yesterday we were bringing them home to join our crazy family.

We had to rename one from Isa to Browny after we discovered she is actually a he.  Which means he will be rehomed to a great farm when the weather turns to actual Spring.

Delainee named Lemmon and Sunny all by herself and can tell the difference when talking to them each day too.

Legs is the most friendly and active so far.  She comes running when we walk in.

Soon they will be jumping out of there box, so Spring, come soon, PLEASE!!

Easter Recap

How was your Easter?

Ours was filled with crafts, colored eggs, Easter Bunny baskets and much more.

The girls painted these little egg carton chicks, along with their own arms, legs, etc.
Delainee put on the eyes and beaks.  McKenna stuck the feathers in.

We colored eggs.  Delainee even did some trick moves while removing her eggs.
(No eggs were broken during production)

The girls were invited to their Fairy Godmother's to decorate bunny cakes.
McKenna and Delainee were great at adding coconut bunny fur.

Easter Sunday started with fun baskets for all.
Even Daddy O got M&Ms and Jerky from the Easter Bunny.

We are blessed with great friends who invited us over to enjoy Easter lunch with them and their families.
The girls has so much fun.  They adore their Fairy Godmother!

So from our family to yours,

Spring 2018...

has sort of....kind of.....officially but not really started.

What better way to ring in Spring, than by
running through puddles in our rain boots?!

Us girls loaded into the mom-mobile and went searching for the perfect puddles.

This was McKenna's 1st puddle jumping excursion, so they had to be extra perfect.
Delainee is a pro, so she was a great teacher for her sister.

I stood back and tried to capture the fun, the chatter between sisters, the laughter and
the squeals as the water went over their boots.

I jumped into the first puddle with them to find out I will need new rain
boots before our next excursion. Brrr......

McKenna did fantastic but soon found out that puddle jumping can be
hard work and it is darn cold when you fall in.
Off the clothes came and mom was there with lots of warm fuzzy blankets.

When Delainee was finally cold, off her clothes came and into the nice warm van
to head home for warm baths and hot cocoa.

We had so much fun and cant wait for our next puddle jumping party!

Let the Adventures Begin

We got our first tenants at The Henchanted Coop yesterday and
we are so excited.
We decided to try baby chicks with the girls this year.
These chicks are going some tough ladies by the time our girls are done "petting" them!

Delainee and I went to Tractor Supply Company yesterday.  She left with 4 coins in her pocket and came home with 4 chicks in a box.

She was so gentle with them and talked to them as they traveled in their box to their new home.

I looked back on the drive home to see she had opened the
end of the box and was listening to them talk.
Yes, cutest thing ever!

She then soon fell asleep for the rest of the trip.
I got all of my precious cargo home safe and unloaded.

While Tildy2 (Delainee) slept, her little sister M&M (McKenna Mae)
was over the top
excited with big sis's purchase.

We had to Skype with grandma and grandpa, of course.

We did finally get the chicks under their heat lamp and tucked into their new home for the night.

Let the new adventures of The Henchanted Coop begin.....
